Acceptance

By using dockpod.io, guide.dockpod.io, or the DockPod software, you agree to these terms. If you're using DockPod on behalf of a company, you're agreeing on its behalf too.

The software

DockPod is a self-hosted container ops panel and lite PaaS, distributed as a single binary that you install and run on your own server. You're responsible for that server, its security, and everything you deploy through DockPod on it — DockPod is a tool you operate, not a service we operate for you.

Free and Pro

DockPod's Free tier is free to use indefinitely, subject to the limits described on the pricing page. A Pro license unlocks higher/unlimited limits for one year from purchase, locked to the Machine ID supplied at checkout. Full current feature and limit details live on the pricing page rather than duplicated here, since that's the source of truth we keep up to date.

Purchases

A Pro license is a one-time purchase for a one-year term — there's no auto-renewal or recurring charge. Payment is processed by Stripe. Because a license is a digital key generated specifically for your Machine ID at the moment of purchase, purchases are generally non-refundable once a key has been issued — if something's gone wrong on our end (wrong price charged, key doesn't activate, etc.), email [email protected] and we'll sort it out.

Acceptable use

Don't use DockPod, or dockpod.io, to do something illegal, to attack or abuse other systems, or to try to circumvent the licensing mechanism (e.g. forging or sharing a Machine ID that isn't yours to get a license activated on hardware it wasn't issued for).

No warranty

DockPod is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We work to keep it reliable, but we can't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted, and you're responsible for backing up your own data and testing deploys before relying on them in production.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, DockPod and its authors aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the software or the Site — including downtime, data loss, or losses tied to anything deployed through DockPod on your own infrastructure.

We may update these terms as the product changes. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
